Science

I have a broad set of research interests, including probabilistic and generative models, Bayesian inference, MCMC, kernel methods, regularization, and statistical testing just to name a few.

I also enjoy thinking about bigger questions such as how ML/AI can be useful in science & business, AGI safety, fairness, energy and food sustainability.

Finally, I have a heart for open-source software, mostly within the C++ ML library Shogun.ML
